Section 4.0 Final Inspection and Refund of Construction Bond

4.1
The Unit Owner or Contractor shall make a formal written request for a final inspection of the condominium unit upon completion of construction/renovation work.
4.2
Any defects or deficiencies noted during the final inspection will be conveyed in writing by the Administration Office to the Unit Owner / Contractor for his / her corrective actions.
4.3
If the Unit Owner/Contractor fail to correct all defects or deficiencies noted in the final inspection in a timely and satisfactory manner, the Administration Office may be forced to cease providing basic utilities to the respective Unit until all requirements and conditions have been satisfied.
4.4
The Unit Owner/Contractor shall furnish the Administration Office with a set of complete As-Built Plans, duly signed and certified by the designer.
4.5
The Construction Bond will be refunded in full 15 days after the final inspection of the work has been carried out by the Administration Office. Should violations of the Construction / Renovation rules be committed by the Contractor, the refund will be net of the corresponding penalties.
4.6
The Administration Office reserves the right to rescind, waive or alter any of the above Construction/Renovation Guidelines at any time, without prior notice, when its judgement deems necessary, desirable or proper for its best interest or for the best interest of the Unit Owners / Condominium Corporation.
